Aquacid

pH and carbonate hardness lowering

Water conditioner for pH and carbonate hardness lowering. Specifically suited for water treatment in aquariums inhabited by fish from acidic and soft water biotopes such as discus, neon tetra, armoured catfish, etc. Contains a combination of mineral acids. 10 ml of Aquacid reduces carbonate hardness by 1 ยฐd in 300 l of water (10 ml = 300 lร—ยฐd ). Aquacid doesn’t contain phosphates that may contribute to algae growth.

Before adding Aquacid to aquarium water dilute it at a rate of 1 : 100. Lower pH and carbonate hardness gradually and with care by adding the solution in portions. At the same time, measure pH and hardness of your aquarium water with pH and GH-KH Aquatests. Exercise special care when using this agent in aquariums with fish to prevent rapid changes in pH and carbonate hardness.
