Place Aquafix flow bags in a place where the flow of water is high (e.g. near a filter). Use a suitable number of flow bags to obtain the desired level of hardness lowering. In this form of a cation exchanger, the process runs slowly and a maximum use of Aquafix exchange capacity takes place after 5 – 7 days. The capacity of one flow bag to soften water is 200 l ×°d (one Aquafix bag reduces hardness by 2 °d in 100 l of water). Flow bags are intended for multiple use and the cation exchangers they contain can be regenerated many times by means of the Regenerator offered by Zoolek according to the guidelines given in the directions for use.
