Aquaflora Mn
Easily assimilable manganese
for proper plant growth
Aquarium fertilizer containing bivalent manganese in chelate form easily assimilated by plants. Manganese is vital for plant growth, is a component of many enzymes and is essential in the process of photosynthesis. Symptoms of insufficient manganese content include inhibition of plant growth, interveinal chlorosis of leaves, impaired flowering, inhibition of photosynthesis (lack of plant bubbling). Severe magnesium deficiency may lead to leaf death. If used correctly according to guidelines, Aquaflora Mn is safe for fish and plants.
1 ml is used to 10 l of water every week in most planted tanks. Before adding the fertilizer, it is recommended to measure the content of iron in water using the Aquatest Fe. Too high level of iron can block proper manganese absorption by plants. The ratio of concentrations between manganese and iron should be kept at the level of 1:4. Recommended manganese content in a typical planted tank is 0,1 mg/l. 1 ml of the fertilizer contains 1 ppm of manganese.
