Aquaflora Fe
Source of iron
for proper plant coloration
Aquarium fertilizer for plants containing bivalent iron in a concentrated and easily assimilable form. Regular use of Aquaflora Fe prevents the deficiency in iron and improves plant coloration. Initial symptoms of insufficient iron content include leaves yellowing (chlorosis), and over time plant dieback.
Before adding the fertilizer, it is recommended to measure the content of iron in water by using the Aquatest Fe. Iron deficiencies should be corrected in such a way that the iron concentration in water is kept in the range of 0,2 to 0,5 mg. The concentration above 1 mg/l may be harmful to sensitive aquatic animals. It is not recommended to use more than 1 ml to 10 l of water, which causes the iron concentration equal to 0,5 mg/l.
The change of iron content in aquarium water by adding 1 ml of fertilizer depending on the volume of an aquarium.
Aquarium volume | Increase in the iron content |
---|---|
10 l | 0,5 mg/l |
60 l | 0,08 mg/l |
